"Waiting for Warmer Weather" is an ongoing project. Started in December of 2025, it explores the activities, spaces, and things which matter to us that are put on pause when fall and winter set in.
Covered in tarps or fallen leaves. There is stillness where there would be joy. There's an understanding, perhaps unspoken, that things we've put on pause are actually over, frozen in our memory between the Spring and Fall of a year. Kids who may have enjoyed kayaking in the local bay or playing at the community pool one summer will not do so in the next. Those things gently slip away, as we wait for warmer weather.
